You will find that I am an organized self-starter who enjoys working on multiple projects. Collaborating and communicating come as 2nd nature. Continuing education and personal growth are an integral part of my life.
I designed and coded this site from concept to completion, (is anything ever really complete?) using Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, a little javaScript, jQuery and PhotoShop. It's constantly evolving. The client needed a site that emphasized their classes. It was important to exude a sense of integrity, professionalism and knowledge because it is also a religious community.
Challenge: Build a responsive product landing page with 15 user needs
I designed and coded this project for FreeCodeCamp. There were 15 user needs that were fulfilled. It is built with HTML5, Flex Box and CSS3. You can see the work here...
Challenge: The requirements were to rebuild a specific website using HTML5, video and give it a responsive menu.
I fulfilled the challenge but also had my own take on the content layout of the page.
Challenge: Build a landing page with a hero opener, video, responsive columns in HTML and CSS.
Solution: Using HTML and CSS, I created a page that shows the clients' talent and skills as well as realization of his clients' dream. The logo was supplied and the images were courtesy of Google images.
Challenge: Find an API that offers random quotes and build a mini app that will retrieve the quotes, then add a user input that will tweet the quotes.
Solution: Create a theme to work around the feel of the quotes I chose. I went with a nature connected, dreamy feel to create a relaxed atmosphere. Soft color palette is relaxing, yet philosophical. This project required an Ajax call to an API which retrieves a random quote for the user to read and tweet, if they choose, with a call to action button.
Challenge: Build a WIKI Search app that takes input of a word and returns the definition from WIKI.
Solution: I found the simple approach to be the best. I liked the playfulness of the characters carrying the letters. The colors are warm and vibrant and hold the eye.
